  • Remove all winter plugs and store
  • Re-plumb filtration system, re-plumb pump and heater, re-plumb solar system if required.
  • Heater startup is not included and must be requested.
  • Water fill tanker must be requested in advance.
  • Replace deck equipment and take solar blanket to end of pool
  • Shock pool water (If water volume/depth allows)
  • Pool water filled to operating level is the responsibility of the homeowner and is not done at the pool opening.
  • As an option, you may wish to have us return to clean and/or vacuum your pool once the pool is filled and operating. (This is not included in the opening cost and must be requested and booked as a separate appointment.)

The following may incur an additional cost and we need notice in advance if:

  • It is a vanishing edge pool
  • An opening or closing of a separate hot tub is required
  • An opening or closing of a spill-over spa is required
  • A waterfall, slide or water fountain is plumbed into pool
  • A waterfall, slide or water fountain plumbed in on a separate system

* Note regarding cleaning the pool. If the pool is very dirty and full of leaves/debris it will take more than one cleaning to get it in shape. When netting leaves etc. the water is stirred up and cannot be vacuumed until it settles again. It cannot be completed in one day and sometimes will take more than two appointments. Consider this when booking openings/cleanings, especially in advance of your parties or special events etc. And please note: We bill for each service trip made to your property.

Fall Pool Closing

  • You may request that your salt cell be cleaned at this time. We need  to know in advance (additional charge)

Homeowners should clean debris and vacuum the pool prior to closing. (With ample notice we can vacuum the pool prior to closing and a service charge will apply.)

Note: on occasion during severe weather, tarps can be pulled up by strong, whipping winds and a water bag(s), or parts/corner of the tarp may end up in the pool. Water bags are used to weight the edges of the tarp but there is no way to 100% secure them.

A lock-in or safety cover can greatly reduce or eliminate the problem.
